System of guarantees of the independence of the judiciary of the Republic of Armenia

The present article examines in detail the system of guarantees for the independence of the judiciary. The article substantiates the point of view that the independence of the court, both internally and externally, is a fundamental and initial principle that ensures the proper selection of courts and impartial consideration of judicial disputes. The independence of the judiciary, according to the author, also means that when administering justice, the court (judge) is protected from external and internal interference, any influence, and resolves legal disputes within the framework of the law and its reasonable discretion.
