The system of state authorities in the sphere of internal security of the Russian Federation

The State security policy is part of the internal and foreign policy of the Russian Federation and represents a set of coordinated and unified political, organizational, socio-economic, military, legal, informational, special and other measures. This article is devoted to the system of state authorities in the sphere of ensuring internal security of the Russian Federation. In this paper, the author reveals the functions of the internal security body to ensure the above-mentioned direction of national security. In the main part of the work, the powers of each of the bodies are disclosed. The author identifies the problems of reducing the number of civil servants, as well as the lack of a more complete definition of the concepts and principles of the activities of various services. As a solution, the author proposes to supplement the relevant regulatory frameworks regulating the activities of each of the bodies in the field of internal security.
