The need of the domestic market for the supply of ecologically pure vegetable crops of high quality is forcing the rapid development of such a direction of agriculture as greenhouse production. The most appreciated products are those that grown not hydroponically, but in soil. In accordance with the standard «GOST R 53380-2009 Soils and Subsoils. Greenhouse soils. Technical conditions», soils for greenhouses must not only have nutritive properties, but also be safe from the point of view of the microflora and hazardous chemical compounds contained in it. In contrast to hydroponic cultivation, soil cultivation is more complicated and costly as the nutrient properties of the soil are depleted and yield decreases. The replacement of soil with a new one used in production is not economically feasible. You can increase the nutritional value of the soil by applying organic fertili-zers. The paper considers a new high-speed, energy-saving method of electrolysis sterilization of poultry manure before applying it to the soil of greenhouses as an organic fertilizer. The use of fertilizers from sterilized poultry manure is superior in efficiency to synthetic mineral fertilizers. The substances in this fertilizer are released gradually. The main advantage of poultry manure sterilized by the ozone-electrolysis method is high nutritional value and environmental safety. The method consists in electrical sterilization of droppings in a flow-through electrolysiscell with simultaneous treatment with an ozone-air mixture. The article presents the design of a coaxial flow-through electrolysis cell, shows an experimental, small-sized installation for disinfecting small vo-lumes of organic fertilizer for subsequent introduction into the greenhouse soil massif. The results of experimental studies on the effect of the specific density of the electric current flowing through the volume of the processed substrate on the speed and quality of its processing are presented, allowing comparative calculations of the total energy costs for disinfection. The required technological modes of processing poultry manure by ozone-electrolysis sterilization are presented.
