The system of preparing various categories of the population for life in the conditions of the information society in a professional educational organization

The article discusses the importance of preparing the population for life in the information society. A model of the educational process in a professional educational organization is presented, aimed at the formation of digital competencies for three categories of the population: students of educational institutions, college students, adults, including pre-retirement and retirement age. Four components of the model are considered: target, content, organizational and activity, and results. The content component of the model presents educational programs created by creative teams of teachers for each category of the population. The organizational and activity component presents a consistent, joint activity of the participants in the educational process. In the process of innovation, methods, forms and means of organizing the educational process were tested, aimed at preparing each category of the population. The resulting component of the pedagogical system presents diagnostic tools for determining the formation of digital competencies in each category of the population, and analyzes the results of the formation of digital competencies at three levels: low, medium, high.
