Probation system as a component of ensuring national security

This article discusses the need to create a probation system as a tool for preventing one of the internal threats to national security – crime in the Russian Federation. The author determined the legal nature of probation, studied the set of measures that make up the probation system, as well as the process of their application. Possible factors influencing the effectiveness of the use of probation in the system of ensuring national security against internal threats have been identified.
