Systematization of lexical material for teaching a foreign language to medical students

The pilot study to evaluate medical students' and graduates' mastering foreign vocabulary in practice was carried out. The author determined the causes that hinder memorizing new lexical units. The conclusion about the necessity to select and systematize lexical material was drawn. According to the developed selection criteria the author has determined the basic lexicon for medical students. The methodic classification to systemize foreign lexical material was introduced.
