The paper presents diets satisfying the physiological needs of a high-producing dairy cow. An approach to the formation of a diet for the implementation of a model of a particular feeding system has been shown. It has been indicated that the regulatory requirements for assessing the nutritional value of diets and the quality indicators of feed form the basis of the system of diets that affect the productivity and economic efficiency of dairy farming in agricultural enterprises of the Vologda Region. The biochemical status of high-producing cows can be used as a control of the diets balance. The intensity of the intermediary metabolism of the animal organism indicates the assessment of the diets used, in order to influence the lactation activity of cows, their reproductive qualities and the prevention of health state. The set of developed and used rations in an agricultural enterprise constitutes a system of rations in the organization of normalized feeding of high-producing dairy cows.
