Skateboarding as a foundation of physical training

The article investigates skateboarding as an effective means of general physical training (GP). Key physical qualities developed in the process of skating are considered: coordination, balance, agility, leg and body strength, as well as endurance. Special attention is paid to the functional aspects of skateboarding, its effect on the musculoskeletal system and cardiorespiratory system. Benefits and possible risks are analyzed, recommendations are given on how to include skateboarding in the training process to improve general physical performance. The material will be useful for athletes, coaches and active lifestyle enthusiasts interested in non-trivial methods of physical fitness.
