Investigative errors in the appointment of a forensic psychological and psychiatric examination and their procedural consequences

The article analyzes the peculiarities of conducting investigative activities before the appointment of a forensic examination. The author reveals typical errors in the question posed to the expert, as well as procedural errors that are allowed in the practice of investigative bodies when directly making a decision on the appointment of a forensic examination, considers the consequences of the mistakes made, and offers recommendations for their prevention and neutralization.
