Word and iconic context of political posters in France

The article deals with the interaction of elements in a space of political posters endowed with pragmatic attitudes impact on the recipient of the sender. The study shows that most of the elements «acquire» a pragmatic installation through expressiveness. In this study, we consider the question of the word in the «context of the iconic» and detail the functions of nonverbal signs of expressiveness. Word of the political poster with an informative function is expressive expression attractant features the entire text through contextual correlation semantics (in the terminology of Morris's) words and non-verbal elements. Non-verbal elements will serve as a kind of «iconic context» for the word semantics. At the same time, the word refers to the maximum expression of verbal unit in the space of the text of the political poster. The current state of French speech is characterized by active interaction with other communication areas and functions in their language subsystems. However, it is the interpenetration of certain varieties of speech - its functional and regulatory registers. Underlining the fragility of the boundaries between the stylistic level (registers), stands the idea that they form a continuum - between difficult to draw a clear line.
