Transformation of ideas about patriotism in the modern history of Russia

For modern Russian society, the topic of patriotism is historically relevant, but the increased attention to it is observed in the post-Soviet period of Russian history, when, under the influence of liberal ideology, the so-called democrats, an attempt was made in our country to revise the spiritual and moral values that were professed in it for centuries. In this article, the author analyzes the transformation of ideas about patriotism in the modern history of Russia. At the end of the publication, it is concluded that it is necessary to protect traditional ideas about patriotism and intensify opposition to liberal ideology through the preservation of historical memory, cultural heritage and humanitarian education in our country.
