The difficulties of teaching a foreign language to students with disabilities

The article is devoted to the study of the specific features of teaching a foreign language to students with disabilities in technical universities. The regulatory and legislative bases of teaching students with disabilities are analyzed, the difficulties of this process are highlighted. The authors identify the main ways to overcome difficulties in teaching a foreign language to students with disabilities, analyzes such practices as: a multisensory approach to learning, the use of flexible methods and adaptive technologies, structuring information and various ways of presenting it. It is concluded that using modern technologies and methods, as well as creating a supportive learning environment, it is possible to achieve good results and provide quality education for all students.
