The article explores the views of Nikolay Lossky, a Russian religious philosopher, relating to the period when he developed his practical philosophy. The article is aimed at the actualization of the new archival materials relating to his philosophical heritage that allow a deeper understanding of his thoughts in the field of the philosophy of history. The author analyses Lossky’s vision and understanding of the meaning of history, the goals of historical development, progress and regress in the broad context of his personalism and the doctrine of reincarnation, as well as the axiological and ethical ideas.
