In this article the author studies sense-building potential of floralinguistic elements, such as acacias, carnations, chrysanthemums and palms appearing in the presentation of direct speech. Metaphorical meaning of “language of flowers” concepts in most cases involves smell, fading, flowering or presence of insects.
