Sense field as a way of meaning functioning

The article offers an integrative dynamic approach to the investigation of meaning as living knowledge. With this aim the author puts forward the concept of meaning fields, combining meaning and sense, individual and collective knowledge, processes and results of cognitive and discursive activities. The specificity of such a field is due to a set of cognitive operations and strategies elaborated in a linguocultural community. An association experiment serves as a method of access to such a meaning field.
