Core proper names of culinary and dishes in the literary-poetical fund

The article analyzes core proper names of culinary in the texts of national literary-poetical fund on the example of the Russian and English languages. The article looks at culinary dishes as belonging to the national culture. The description of the core proper names of culinary and – through them – dishes is given. The systematization is based upon the following principles: 1) level of literary integration of the name of culinary; 2) proverbial principle of the name of culinary; 3) presence / absence of limitations (social, regional) in the use of the corresponding dish.
