Socialization of primary school children in a digital society: problems of management

The article reveals the importance of socialization of younger students, analyzes the pedagogical experience of domestic and foreign scientists in the study of factors affecting its formation in the digital society. The attention is focused on the trends of development of the digital society of the Russian Federation, qualitative and quantitative characteristics of children - representatives of the digital generation, as the main reasons for the need to change the priorities and approaches to socialization. The questions of effective management of the process of socialization in the new social context, dictated by the digital society: resource support, functional support, quality provision of educational institutions. On the basis of experimental activities existing problems in the sphere of school education are allocated, ways of their overcoming are planned. It’s necessary to improve the equipment of educational institutions with digital resources, to coordinate the efforts of management and teaching staff, ensuring the readiness of primary school teachers to ensure in a digital society.
