Social adaptation in a technogenic society

The article actualizes the problem of modern social dynamics and its features in the context of the increasing human need to adapt quickly and effectively to the conditions of a rapidly changing world. The scientific field of research is formulated, which consists in studying the characteristic features of social adaptation in the conditions of the modern technogenic stage of society development. The analysis of approaches to the problem of social adaptation in the history of scientific thought is presented. The characteristic of the technogenic society is given and the features of social adaptation in it are revealed. The author’s approach to understanding social adaptation in modern social reality, which is characterized by the use of information and digital technologies, is proposed. The possibility of differentiation of social adaptation into active (assumes the desire of the subject to change the environment) and passive (assumes adaptation to the environment) is determined. It is argued that passive adaptation has the consequence of replacing the priorities of humanism with technicism, the loss of the social role of morality, the change of forms of communication, the rejection of the sociality of life. The conclusion is made about the need to update the resources of active adaptation aimed at the creative development of the modern human environment.
