Social desirability and suppression of the MIA officers' emotions

The article reflects the results of investigating interaction between the phenomenon of social desirability common for law enforcement officers and the inclination to suppress emotions and signs of psychic maladjustment. The researchers argue that the MIA officers tend to distort data when filling in the questionnaires that is manifested in disagreement of self-evaluation and division chiefs' expert evaluations.
