Socio-philosophical analysis of the development of the social culture of internal affairs officers of the Russian Federation in the context of social changes in Russian society

The article examines the development of social culture among officers of the Internal Affairs Bodies (IAB) of the Russian Federation in the context of social changes in modern Russian society. The study presents an original conceptualization of social change, drawing upon perspectives from evolutionary theory, diffusionism, theories of historical cycles, historical materialism, and structural functionalism. A working definition of the “social culture of Internal Affairs officers of the Russian Federation” is proposed, and key factors influencing changes in modern Russian society are identified, specifically the epidemiological, geopolitical, and migratory dynamics. The socio-economic and cultural position of IAB officers in Russia is analyzed with respect to ongoing developments in the economic, social, and political spheres. The article identifies priority areas of professional activity that contribute to the stable development of society and practically embody the ideal of service to the nation. The interactions of IAB officers with representatives of the norm-setting, criminal, and marginal spheres of modern Russian society under conditions of social tension are also examined.
