The article delves into the subjective factors influencing the formation of social culture of employees of internal affairs bodies (police) of the Russian Federation. The content of the concept of subjective factor of culture and its role in social development is considered. A number of subjective factors of social culture of employees of internal affairs bodies (police) of the Russian Federation, which form the social representation of the ideal personality of an employee are presented. Among these factors are personal and psychological qualities such as education, upbringing, worldview, and ideology. All the subjective factors presented in the article are interrelated and aimed at developing a full-fledged and harmonious personality of an employee of the internal affairs bodies, a true professional who is ready for a continuous process of education, improvement and enrichment of professional skills, knowledge and professional culture. Such factors shape a model of an employee who possesses socially significant qualities, enabling them to act decisively and clearly in complex life circumstances while adhering to the mission of serving the public good.
