Socio-economic impact of logistics, as a determinant of internet retail

The development of e-Commerce in Russia is quite dynamic, but still lags behind the indicators of the leading countries of the world. The authors analyze the performance of the market volume of the Internet trading, and the factor having the greatest influence on its development, which is logistics management, is revealed. Based on the fact that the most of the costs of electronic stores is accounted for logistic services, it is relevant to consider the prospects of development of logistics within the country in general and within businesses in particular. The article analyzes the state of the transport structure in the country and prospects of its development. The positive and the negative aspects of different modes of transport are studied. The options for the organization of logistics in the enterprise of e-Commerce are identified; they are outsourcing and the creation of its own logistic structure. On the basis of the website pochta.ru the conditions for the transfer of logistics functions to a third party are analyzed. Based on the data of the online store Lamoda, the analysis of a logistic structure belonging to this company is made. The relevant conclusions on the socio-economic impact of logistics in the enterprise of e-Commerce for entrepreneurs and consumers are made.
