The social and cultural rehabilitation of the people with function breaches of the supporting and motor organs by means of the ballroom choreography

The opportunities and influence of the ballroom choreography on the rehabilitation process of the people with function breaches of the supporting and motor organs is revealed and based. The necessity of the creation of the complex rehabilitation system for the people with function breaches of the supporting and motor organs is determined by the authors; the term “social and cultural rehabilitation” is explicit. The levels of dancing and motor therapy as an example of the author’s programme “Wheelchair dancing” were examined in the process of research. The effectiveness of the ballroom dancing in integral and social aspects in the process of social and cultural rehabilitation is determined.
