Socially-oriented linguistic education at Ural region

The article is on the connection of regional economy and social infrastructure of the Ural region with socially-oriented language education in Sverdlovsk region. The statistical analysis on the development of industry and education in Sverdlovk region was made. The analyses of general and specific characteristics of the development of language education in the Ural secondary schools as well as the prospects of its development in the region were presented. The rationale for the need in highly-qualified specialists for the region was given. The characteristic features of the linguistic education depending on the types of secondary schools were described. The properties of the socially-oriented education were found and grounded. The results of the research can be used to organize and implement the vocational education at secondary schools.
