Socio-professional self-determination of youth in the context of social dangers of mediatization

The article is devoted to a critical analysis of the influence of mediatization on the processes of socio-professional self-determination of youth. The authors apply a sociological approach to conceptualize socio-professional self-determination and analyze the features of the formation of socio-professional expectations of young people at the digital stage of mediatization. The authors also classify and describe the social dangers of the impact of mediatization on socio-professional self-determination. The ideas and recommendations expressed in the article will contribute to the improvement of state educational, youth and information policies, as well as personnel policies of enterprises and organizations in order to minimize the described social dangers.
