Introduction. At present there are several tendencies of female crime: reducing of the number of crimes committed by women and more than four times increase in the number of women who have committed serious crimes. However, extensive studying of this issue enables the authors to reveal that psychological status of female convicts who have committed relatively minor crimes and serve the sentence without isolation from the society has not been profoundly studied. The aim of the article is to reveal social psychological peculiarities of female convicts serving the sentence without isolation from the society. Materials and Methods. The diagnostic procedure was conducted among 59 female convicts serving the sentence without isolation from the society in 18 regions of the Russian Federation. To analyze and collect the data the following methods were employed: “Universal Diagnostics of Nervous Psychic State”, “MMPJ”, “Complex Assessment of Delinquency”, “Assessment of Personal Aggressiveness and Proneness to Conflict”, “Method of Diagnosing Destructive Attitudes in Interpersonal Relations”. To process the data Pearson’s correlation analysis was used. Results and Discussion. The following results were obtained: 55,9% of women serving the sentence without isolation from the society have nervous psychic disorders ranging from maladjustment to neurosis. In the convict’s personal profile the highest indicators concern the psychopathy scale (57,5), which proves personal social maladjustment: disregard of objective circumstances and orientation to situational desires, but not to reality. The general indicator of female convicts’ delinquency is 30,1 points, which shows possible repeat crimes. Besides, there is a general tendency to exercise violence: a high level of manifested destructive attitudes in interpersonal relations (first, it concerns veiled violence (65%) and unveiled violence (65%)). Conclusions. Female convicts have nervous psychic disorders ranging from maladjustment to neurosis. The personality structure shows impulsiveness, proneness to conflict, disregard of objective circumstances, orientation to situational desires and not to reality, proneness to aggression, conflicts and asocial acts, situational and individual anxiety, rigidness, lack of self-confidence, poor communicative skills, veiled and unveiled violence. These characteristics should be considered when developing psychocorrection programmes.
