Socially important education as a long-term goal of a human being development in education

The contradiction between the need of a human being to get knowledge of himself and the surrounding world and socially conditioned thoughts on the value of education comprises the necessity of formulating an acceptable result of education. This kind of model of an educated person can be expressed in the form of education that is socially important and that is developed due to the individual characteristics of a human being. The article suggests an image of an educated person that acts as a target a person should reach to solve the contradiction mentioned above. The socially significant image of an educated person as a long-term goal was formed in accordance with the existing theories in social sciences. The main innovative result is the proposed systematic image of an educated person that includes the knowledge about the relationships of people with each other and with the environment; the ability to use the knowledge in different aspects of life; personal qualities of a human being that contribute to his competence in self-realization and health preservation meaningful for the state and society. The relationships between knowledge, skills and personal qualities of a man were revealed. They can help to build an educational strategy of a man that meets both individual and socially important needs. Using the model, you can develop an educational strategy that will combine individual and socially important needs of an educated person. The image of an educated person suggested can be used to design and to implement the complexes of educational means that contribute to the development of educated people able to construct reasonable combinations of performing social roles assigned to them with self-realization made in a socially acceptable manner.
