The article reveals the content and importance of social partnership for the innovative development of higher education in the context of its radical reform. Social partnership in the system of higher education ensures the achievement of the common goals of the subjects of social partnership, the effective use of the potentials of partners, increases the efficiency of solving problems of regional labor markets and employment. The article reveals the concept and essence of social partnership in the system of higher education, as the most important factor in providing the national economy with highly qualified personnel that meet the specific needs of employers. Recommendations are given on stimulating the process of formation of social partnership in the field of higher professional education, and using its potential in solving the problem of employment of university graduates.
