Social partnership between a pedagogical university and a school as a mechanism for professional education of a future teacher

The article is devoted to the importance of network interaction «pedagogical university - school» within the conditions of low prestige of the teaching profession, lack of motivation of applicants, a low level of their basic training, as well as an insufficient resource base of schools responsible for the formation of a basic set of knowledge of future teachers. The impossibility of solving these two problems by schools independently determines the need to build cooperative ties between different levels of the education system. It has been established that not only schools, but also universities are interested in such systemic interaction. This interest is most clearly manifested in pedagogical universities, which experience an acute shortage of applicants charged for their future profession. The authors made an attempt to systematise the factors that determine the need for social interaction between a pedagogical university and a school. The article also defines the main directions of this interaction and benefits that schools and universities may get as a result of this very interaction.
