Social insurance and pension security for prisoners

The article considers the constitutional principles of the Russian state in relation to social and pension security. The features of the implementation of the socio-economic rights of such a category of citizens as those sentenced to imprisonment are revealed. The specifics of compulsory state social insurance and pension provision for those sentenced to imprisonment in accordance with the CEC of the Russian Federation are highlighted. The procedure for calculating and paying the pensions of a citizen released from the facilities of the criminal correctional system, taking into account the norms of the pension legislation of the Russian Federation, is given.
