Social agents in the formation of youth labor values: results of sociological research on the example of the Khabarovsk krai

The article focuses on identifying the main social agents that shape and transform the system of labor values of modern youth. According to the results of the principal components method, regression analysis of the data obtained in the course of sociological study of youth in Khabarovsk Krai, the factors determining the value orientations of the younger generation in the system of social and labor relations were identified: socio-professional status of parents, level of material well-being of the family, family labor education, school vocational guidance as well as the system of labor education, youth associations and organizations. In connection with large-scale digitalization, blogging, the Internet, social networks are gaining the “weight” of social institutions that transform the value system and strategies for integrating young people into the social and labor sphere. Particular emphasis is placed by the authors on youth associations and movements as key social institutions that determine the direction of an individual's professional self-realization.
