Social risks of automobilization in the urban environment

Relevance. Social risks existing in all spheres of human existence are studied in all areas of scientific knowledge, each of which has its own view and methods of studying this phenomenon. The interest of social sciences in the process of motorization, which affects all institutions of society, providing people's lives with well-being, is determined by a number of side effects and risks. The classification of motorization risks by possible consequences and content, conditions of occurrence and features of manifestation is presented. The risk of motorization is an interdisciplinary concept formed in the categorical space of interaction of natural and social sciences. The dependence of social risks of motorization on irrational components of motivating consciousness of road users is revealed. It is shown that a car, being a part of socio-economic relations, significantly affects the culture of society, contributes to the formation of certain values and norms.
