Social challenges to modern education: parameters and content analysis

The article proposes a model shaping the challenges to modern education through the definition of the parameters of its description. The authors refer to the organizational and managerial, instrumental parameter, which is determined by the state or market nature of educational regulations. The second axiological parameter is the value characteristics embodied in the traditions, which manifest themselves in the prospects for the education development. Among these parameters the authors distinguish three main challenges that are relevant for mod-ern education and correlate with each other. They are the sources of the educational order and its funding, as well as the status of subjects of educational relations.
