Social constructivism as a promising direction of forecasting

The article analyzes constructivism as the current trend in the development of socio-cultural forecasting, explores the origins and essence. Discusses the ideas of constructivism in the philosophy of Heraclitus. D. Vico, J. Berkeley, I. Kant, K. Marx. Special attention is paid to the synergetic model of self-organizing society and social constructivism. It is noted that the modern futures studies are developing in line with the ideas about the active transforming role of the human personality, its creative essence and creative mission. In the modern world the question of what will the future of humanity, becoming one of the most important. Achievement of the urgent tasks of the establishment and strengthening of peace, sustainable economic, social, cultural development, reduction of poverty and overcoming of the spiritual crisis faced by all countries and Russia, is possible only if adequate reality, methodological approaches to the study of the future and on their base built probabilistic models of social and cultural development. The author believes that the use of constructivism in predicting will be the basis for the creation of development strategies that will not only help to adapt to social and cultural change, but will manage these changes have a significant impact on them.
