Social status, clinicoradiologic signs of the newly diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis in patients of young age with mycobacteria drug resistance

270 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) firstly diagnosed at the age of 18-34 were examined. The first group included 137 patients with initial drug resistance (DR) of TB mycobacteria (MBT); the second group included 133 patients with MBT drug sensibility. They often didnt have regular job; had bad habits and comorbidities; other complications were also revealed. Among clinical forms disseminated TB, caseous pneumonia and fibrouscavernous pulmonary TB were predominant. More severe course was observed. Process in the lungs covered three and more lobes, it was accompanied by 2-4 cm cavernous formation, numerous in some cases. Bacterioexcretion was massive and it was defined during microscopic investigation. Social status, clinicoradiological manifestations of TB in young patients with MBT DR were determined.
