Sociodynamics of students’ spirituality in the late XX - early XXI centuries

The sociodynamics of spirituality reflects changes in moral and value attitudes. Students comprise a social group, one of the categories of youth, different from others in that fact that they are in the process of getting a profession, and, as a rule, students are classified as a youth elite. Students are a specific category of young people whose life priorities and values are focused on obtaining new knowledge. The instrumental quality of knowledge consists in its operationalization, i.e. a special procedure of transferring new knowledge into empirical applied form necessary for mastering reality. Thus, students can be a powerful force that is capable to transform. That is why it is so important that the knowledge gained by students were highly spiritual, moral and moral. This article presents the results of the studies organized by the author during the mid-90s of the XX century - the first quarter of the XXI century. The results of the students’ study allow to draw certain conclusions about the changeable character of their structure of values and global impact of social values on the processes of formation of consciousness and behavior of youth.
