Sociolinguistic aspects of borrowings in contemporary language and terminology

The paper is devoted to the sociolinguistic aspects of borrowings in terminology and contemporary language from retrospective and modern points of view. The aim of the research is to show the importance of knowing contemporary English taking into account professional interests and activities. The authors reveal the ways of penetration of borrowing words into medical terminology.
