Sociological assessment of the efficiency of the lifelong learning system

Based on the 2015-2018 sociological study conducted as a part of the school-university-company combination, an innovative lifelong learning system designed and implemented at Shukhov Belgorod State Technological University, the author assesses the efficiency of this system. A set of efficiency criteria includes the effectiveness of lifelong learning, satisfaction of trainees, school students’ awareness about the system, their interest in it, professional self-determination, optimal career choice, adaptation, self-fulfillment, self-efficacy, relationship style, psychological climate, prospects. In addition, the research discusses the ways to enhance the effectiveness of the lifelong learning system based on data obtained. It is concluded that the innovative lifelong learning system introduced by Shukhov Belgorod State Technological University is fairly effective and allows one to build a talent pool for high-tech industries.
