The article is devoted to the sociological analysis of the causes of social conflicts in small labor collectives, especially among individual entrepreneurs (IEs). The author substantiates the relevance of the research topic, formulates the scientific problem, and reveals its scientific development in modern Russian publications. The study delineates the principal tenets of a sociological investigation into the causes, manifestations, and conse-quences of social conflicts in labor collectives composed of individual entrepreneurs. Based on survey data, key conflict factors were identified, including uneven distribution of responsibilities, disparities in remuneration, as well as subjective causes such as employee ambitions and emotional stress. The study showed that informal labor relations and the lack of clear rules of interaction increase conflict, despite the overall satisfaction of employees. It has been proven that constructive conflict resolution strategies (cooperation, compromise) prevail among em-ployees. The practical significance of this work lies in the development of recommendations aimed at optimizing conflict management amid ongoing digitalization and labor market transformation.
