Sociology in management: practical solutions for doing business

The article examines the issues of productive social interaction from the point of view of its practical significance for doing business as a complex process that carries a conflict potential, which is simultaneously a negative factor in organizational development and an incentive to update the organizational system and implement innovations. The author proves that the level of readiness for productive social interaction is determined by the level of development of the cognitive component, as well as the level of practical abilities of managers to resolve complex interpersonal situations that arise in the process of business management. As a result, the author concludes that sociological knowledge is the most important feature and prerequisite for the professionalism of a modern manager, allowing him to make practical decisions for doing business, in particular in such an important area as conflict management.
