Society as a social reality: categorical version

In Russian literature, the term “society” is often used synonymously with “human society”. The novelty of the present study is represented by the approach to its treatment as a phenomenon of the unity of socionatural systems, where the subject area is represented by both social and natural-material systems. It involves the involvement of elements of the natural and material world in human activity. The interaction between the environment and society is socially significant in meeting human needs. The positivity and negativity of the human factor determine the state of society in the results reflected in the socially important concept of social effect. The ecosocial crisis of society can be solved by improving the moral and psychological characteristics of the person. The practical significance of the article is contained in the research potential of the concept of «society». Constructing such a reality requires examining people’s social needs and the societal impact that their activities produce. The episte-mology of the social assumes a neophenomenological approach, combining the objective and the subjective, the real and the symbolic. Society from an abstract category can become a subject of science and practice, reinforcing the anti-entropic creative nature of man in society.
