Socialist realism in I. Ilf and Ye. Petrov's works (scripts "Barrack" and "Once in the summer")

This article focuses on the analysis of two social and realistic plays by I.Ilf and Ye.Petrov: "The Barrack" and "Once in the Summer". The analysis shows how the authors tried to combine a new literary form with the familiar humoristic content.
