The paper examines the issue of increasing the body's resistance to oxygen deficiency and energy deficit under cerebral ischemia. Adaptation to these changes is represented by an increased number of heat shock proteins in brain neurons. Their expression increases with a decrease of oxygen level in the blood. The aim of the paper is to evaluate HSP70 level in the brain of rats with various stages of cerebral ischemia.
