Content of structural carbohydrates in the stern RT and optimization of their young stock ration cattle

Бесплатный доступ

For the first time the content of the structural carbohydrates in coarse and rich fodder, originating from different soil-climatic regions of Republic Tatarstan, was studied. It was shown that an existing method for the total carbohydrates evaluation (coarse cellulose and nonnitrogenous extractive components) does not meet the requirements of the modern balanced feeding for ruminants. Since both neutral detergent fiber (NTF) and acid detergent fiber (ADF) play an important role in the digestion of coarse cellulose and other nutrients, it is necessary to take into account these forms of cellulose in a fodder. The results of scientific research showed considerable difference in the level and quality of structural carbohydrates in feeding stuffs and influence of their quantity at productivity of animals.
