Substantive aspects of the information competence formation of graduates

In the article the information competence of graduates is considered. The definition of information competence is given, the basic components of information competence: information, informative, communicative, technological, technical, social are presented. In the article conclusion about information competence as the key competence is pointed. The article noted that information competence is a necessary condition of success for a specialist in the professional field. The definition of computer science as a science is given, the importance of computer science for the development of society is shown. Integrative property of informatics is indicated, provisions as the basis of integrity science are given. The forms of the model used in computer science, are set out. The concept of the information object is discussed, the role of the information modeling is shown. Also the article reveals the essence of the components of information competence of the expert. The conclusion that the information competence is one of the professionally significant qualities of a specialist is made.
