Connection of timber structures with nail-plate on metal plates

The object of this study is the connection of elements of wooden structures on metal plates reinforced with a nail-plate. The article considers the results of previous developments in this field and proposes an improved construct of the nail-plate. In order to increase the bearing capacity and improve the effect of the redistribution of loads between the elements of the connection, a bend was added. Using the method of calculating beams on an elastic foundation of finite length, equations of internal forces arising from the action of an external load are obtained. Based on them, the full calculated bearing capacity of the proposed connection construct was found.
