The sophianic theme, characteristic of Russian religious and philosophical thought of the late XIX - first third of XX century, is considered for the first time in the article in relation to the artistic and philosophical creativity of Valerian Nikolayevich Muravyev (1885-1930). In the philosophical mystery “Sofia and Kitovras” (1921-1925) Muraviev connect two lines of development of a sofiological theme - theological and art. Sophia appears in the pages of the mystery as an ideal image of the world and man, and at the same time her image is associated with the theme of the meaning of love, with the ethics of the transformed Eros. It is shown how the key scene of the mystery - the prayer to Sofia of all nature and all mankind and the common cause of transformation of the world following the prayer - passes into other artistic plans of Muravyov, is reflected in the sketches of the fairy tale “The Captive Kingdom” (1925) and in the novel “The Island Buyan” (1926-1928). In the light of the Sofia plot the drama of the philosopher “Adviser to death” (1927-1928) is considered. Shown the autobiographical origins of the sophiology of Muraviev.
