The preservation and translation of Russian artistic traditions in socio-cultural practices

A characteristic is given to the artistic traditions in sociocultural practices; their importance for the development of the contemporary sociocultural field is defined. The factors, that affect the efficiency of preservation and translation of artistic traditions, are identified, and also the mechanism of these processes' implementation; which includes axiological, informational and pedagogic components, is considered. The axiological component is responsible for eternal value senses, which are presented through artistic images, the informational component accumulates meaningful information about the historical period, in which the tradition emerged and developed; the pedagogic component encourages the development of socially approved types of behavior, installs morale beacons and provides assessments. The necessity of the introduction of the specialized sociocultural programs, aimed at the studying of Russian artistic traditions, is stressed. The experience of the transformation of artistic objects as products of sociocultural practices is described the lubok tradition as an example of incarnation of artistic heritage's value cornerstones.
