Solidarity as a resource of social activity

The article reveals the study of solidarity as a resource of social activity based on factor analysis. It is noted that social solidarity as a phenomenon is the result of the spread of emotions and beliefs in society, forming a kind of community of individuals focused on common goals with the prevalence of collective moral principles. In the light of the above, it makes sense to study social solidarity against the background of social activity of individuals, the specifics of human interaction, which reflects the level of their responsibility for what is happening in society and their own lives, their understanding of civic values, the degree of separation of their own and public interests. The results of a sociological study conducted in 2017 in the Novosibirsk region are described. By the method of the main components, 6 factors were identified that characterize the peculiarities of the manifestation of social solidarity by respondents. Among them: orientation of subjects in their actions to the interests of the primary group, interaction and implementation of collective actions, altruism, shifting responsibility to others, manifestation of personal initiative, pragmatism and implementation of rational actions. The values of the factors for each respondent were determined, the analysis of the indicators of conjugacy was carried out, conclusions were drawn about the potential of social solidarity as a resource for the implementation of social activity.
