The correlation between general theoretical categories and concepts codified in sectoral legislation (by the example of some provisions of Article 5 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation)

The correlation between the general theoretical category «law enforcement» and the special concepts as «choosing a measure of restrain» and «applying a measure of restrain» is examined in the article. Certain issues of characterizing the activities of authorized entities in the field of criminal justice in passing law enforcement acts are considered. Some aspects of characterizing the activities of implementing decisions on measures of procedural coercion, where the essence of the issue under study is manifested, are analyzed as well.
